March 1948 marked the start of the new smaller page size, which the editors blamed on paper rationing - the intention was to reissue the first two issues in the new paper size for binding, but they are not present here - if they were ever issued. Ongoing coverage of architectute in Soviet Russian (with a critical letter from the Soviet Union on a previous editorial), Australian architecture in a special issue, the first schools being built after the 1944 Education Act, review of the Copenhagen Regional Plan, and earlier post-war design.
